Behnke
Photographers was founded in 1956 in Cicero,
Illinois by Al and Connie Behnke, Bert's
parents. They relocated to their home in
unincorporated Mokena in
1961, and then Frankfort in 1964. In 1985
Bert purchased
the studio from his parents who opened another
studio in Clearwater, Florida.
Cindy
Behnke previously owned "The Gallery",
a well known studio in southern Illinois.
She relocated here from Carlyle, Illinois in 1991 and is co-owner of our studio.
